Modern low maintenance garden for the kids with space for hot tub and man cave.
Murray landscapes will create your luxury outdoor living space over 2 levels. Your new Porcelain patio area will be an extension to your property via the French doors, large enough to entertain family and friends. We have carefully designed this project to maximise your space for the kids to play on the artificial lawn area and by maintaining the ultra-modern design with stepping stones leading to the lower chillout area.
The lower section we will prepare the ground for your man cave and will create a patio area fit for your hot tub with an additional artificial grass area. We will clad the retaining wall will contemporary horizontal screening. Your project will be complete by installing a brand-new timber fence which will create the perfect backdrop for your chosen materials within your project. The fencing will also create more privacy and increase the levels of security within your property.
We dug out the existing garden with the use of a 1.6ton mini digger, 1 machine operator, 1 banks man and 2 track dumpers. We excavated the existing garden creating 2 levels with a total of 90ton of spoil being removed from the area.
Once the excavation was complete, we poured 1.5 cube of C35 concrete for our retaining wall foundations. 15ton of type 1 mot was brought in for the initial sub-base layer which was laid on weed suppressing membrane and compacted using a vibrating plate.
It was then time to install our drainage system to make sure there was no issues with rainwater as this garden was the lowest of all surrounding gardens.
Our in-house brickie then got to work and built the retaining walls and steps leading to the lower level using over 300 concrete breeze block.
Another 30ton of type 1 mot was laid to complete the sub-base.
We installed the timber posts for our closed board fencing and CS electrical then carried out their first fix for the fence mounted down lights.
Our team got to work laying approximately 160 600mm x 600mm porcelain slabs . Including the large stepping stones and our bespoke coping stones.
Nearing the finishing line, the artificial grass was installed, and all walls were cladded with dry stack split face walling.
This left CS Electrical to install the fence mounted down lights and LED light strip under coping stone to create a feature in the lower level.
It was then time for the final clean up and wash down of the project prior to walk round with our client.
