Back Garden
I dream of a low maintenance garden, all on the same level with different areas to relax with my family.
Luxury , low maintenance, garden designed over one level introducing a circular theme to define different areas of the garden, which helps to maximise this small space.
We ripped out the existing garden with the use of a 1.6ton mini digger, 1 machine operator and 1 banks man. 22ton of spoil was removed from the area using a clam lorry and 10ton of type 1 mot was used as the initial layer of sub base which was laid on weed suppressing membrane and compacted using a vibrating plate. The next step was to erect the contemporary screens to define the perimeter as well as liaise with CS Electrical for their first fix installation of the armoured cable.
The discrete brick slot drainage channel was next on the agenda along with adjusting heights of existing roding points. Once all kerbs and sub base we installed it was now time for the raised planter to be built using concrete block then prepare to lay the Indian sandstone paving on a full bed of mortar and prime the paving prior to laying to ensure good adhesion. It was then time to construct our curved deck frame and lay composite decking. boards
The next part was pretty complex as we had to mark out all circle detail in the paving and decking to be cut free hand using a battery powered grinder. We then laid the outer charcoal block to define the circle detail. We completed the raised planter by cladding with stone face dry stack veneer walling. Prior to this we sealed the inside of the planter using a bitumen paint to prevent moisture seeping through abd effecting the cladding. Our bespoke coping stones were then cut and installed.
We were now getting close to the finishing line, the artificial grass was installed, planting was carried out, decorative screens were fixed leaving only CS Electrical to install the lighting. Once CS electrical were finished we carried out the final wash down of the project prior to walk round with our client.
“We’ve just had our garden redevelopment completed by Mark at Murray Landscape. With a basic idea of what we wanted, from the early discussions to the completed design Mark interpreted our ideas and came up with a design that blew us away. The finished product is, if anything even better. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship is absolutely first class. Mark has created a unique space that delivers on all of the elements that we wanted. All the way through Mark listened to any ideas we had, offered advice and then managed to incorporate these into the finished garden. A thoroughly professional job by the team and the pride they take in their work is wonderful to see. For anyone wanting to see their dream garden delivered we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”
