Unable to utilise garden due to poor layout and insufficient drainage.
Create a low maintenance garden fit for the kids to play and adults to socialise around the fire pit.
Initially, our team removed 30ton of spoil from this garden and installed a French drainage system. We constructed timber railway sleeper raised planters at different heights to create some structure. We then constructed a large Sahara Indian sandstone patio with pathways leading to the newly built walnut composite decking area ideal for relaxing in the sun.
We constructed a free-standing fire pit which creates an ideal area for relaxing and socialising. This bespoke fire pit also doubles up as a BBQ grill which means the family can enjoy some outdoor cooking. Due to the drainage issues and requirement for a low maintenance garden, we opted to install artificial grass and at the request of the client, we created an area for the kids’ trampoline using play grade woodchip. We completed the look by laying Scottish Beach Pebble around the perimeter of the paving to allow for water run-off.
